Ramthakur College, an affiliated College of the Tripura University, is a co-educational institution and imparts in various subjects at undergraduate level.
It was a necessity – hundreds of students could not seek admission to the established colleges of Agartala and the influx was on. The man who derived inspiration in accepting the challenge was a ‘bare-footed half-clad ordinary employee of Agartala Municipality’. Principal's Message
Sa Vidya Ya Bimuktaye - thus goes the saying which tells us “ knowledge is that which sets us free”. The mission of this college is to impart education to the young citizens, who are going to lead our country in future and also to let them be aware that a proper education shall be the stepping stone to acquire knowledge which shall set him free.
